Welcome to the A-Pro® Home Inspection Franchise Discovery Process!

Our mission is to create a perfect match between your aspirations and our franchise opportunity through a process built on integrity, knowledge, and respect. We will work together at your pace with an agreeable timeline to help you understand our franchise system deeply while our team learns about your goals and ambitions in owning your own business. As a new Franchisee candidate, we encourage you to make an informed decision within this period. If awarded a franchise, you will be joining the A-Pro® family as a new Franchisee. Remember, making a choice is just the beginning of your journey as a business owner. We are eager to commence this thrilling journey with you!

STEP 1

YOUR GOALS, OVERVIEW, AND DECISIONS CRITERIA

We are committed to investing time to understand your background and aspirations thoroughly. We will comprehensively understand your needs by delving into your personal and professional goals, assessing your compatibility with A-Pro, and evaluating your timeline, selection criteria, and investment range. Throughout this process, we will also address your fears or concerns.

STEP 2

QUESTIONNAIRE, BRAND INSIGHT, AND FINANCIAL OVERVIEW

The A-Pro® Candidate Questionnaire is a pivotal initial step that reflects your earnest interest in our franchise opportunity. It provides valuable insights to tailor an exclusive territory and financial plan suited to your aspirations.  

Once the Candidate Questionnaire is received and reviewed, we will delve into A-Pro’s vision and mission. We will highlight The A-Pro® Brand and our unique benefits. It is a foundational stage to decide whether to engage in deeper conversations, promoting transparency and candid dialogue. 

During this session, you will clearly understand our business framework and ethos. We will discuss a thriving A-Pro franchisee’s attributes, demeanor, and practices, including details on your exclusive territory and associated costs. 

OUTLINED BELOW IS A CONCISE SUMMARY OF THIS EVALUATIVE SESSION: 

  1. CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE: Completing the questionnaire signals an intent to discover more about our Franchise, aiding us in formulating a bespoke territory and financial outline for you. 
  2. VISION AND VALUES: We will articulate the core principles and aspirations that drive THE A-PRO® BRAND. 
  3. BUSINESS MODEL: An explanation of our business structure and the competitive edge it offers. 
  4. ORGANIZATIONAL IDENTITY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: We will provide insight into A-Pro’s core values and the vibrant culture that defines our company. Additionally, we will highlight our active participation and role within the community. 
  5. FRANCHISEE SUCCESS FRAMEWORK: This part of the discussion will focus on the characteristics and attributes that embody an exemplary A-Pro franchisee and the essential factors contributing to their success. 
  6. TRANSPARENT COMMUNICATION: We pledge to encourage open and honest communication and ensure that all your questions and concerns are addressed comprehensively. 
  7. EXCLUSIVE TERRITORY AND INVESTMENT DETAILS: We will outline the specifics of the exclusive territory designated for your Franchise and provide a detailed breakdown of the initial investment and financial commitments involved. 

We will arrange subsequent steps and set definitive timelines for progression upon mutual consent. 

STEP 3

APPLICATION AND PERSONALITY PROFILE

There is no obligation or commitment to invest at this point; once we’ve received and discussed your application, we will provide a sample of the Franchise Agreement, which includes more detail on training, mutual obligations, the initial investment, and ongoing expenses associated with owning and operating the business. If all is well, we will invest in the Caliper Personality Profile tool to further understand how you fit into our family. It is also an excellent tool for you to use to help you in your decision-making process. 

Below is a simple breakdown of this step in  our process: 

  1. SAMPLE OF FRANCHISE AGREEMENT Provides more detail on training, mutual obligations, initial investment, and ongoing expenses – Helps parties understand the terms and conditions of the franchise agreement.
  2. Caliper Personality Profile – Tool to understand how the candidate might fit into the company – Useful for the candidate in the decision-making process – Helps both parties make an informed decision.

STEP 4

REVIEW OF YOUR EXCLUSIVE TERRITORY AND FRANCHISE AGREEMENT

During this step, we will review your exclusive territory and provide an overview of any home inspection requirements specific to your area. This step will ensure you thoroughly understand the local market and the necessary regulations, allowing you to make a well-informed decision about your investment. 

This part of the process allows you to view the Franchise Agreement and compilation of information, including our company background and management, a detailed breakdown of the total investment, a list of some of our current Franchisees, and more. We want to ensure you comprehensively understand the business and our responsibilities. We must also document your selection criteria and confirm that A-Pro® is the right fit for you.

    STEP 6

    FINAL VALIDATION & EXECUTIVE INTERVIEW

    Once you’ve attended Meet The Team, we’ll discuss any outstanding franchisee confirmation or funding items. You will also have a final one-on-one interview with our Senior Leadership Team member. You will also work with your Recruiter to establish a timeline that works for you and when you ultimately want to open your business.

    1. ATTEND MEET THE TEAM EVENT 
    2. DISCUSS OUTSTANDING FRANCHISEE CONFIRMATION OR FUNDING ITEMS 
    3. FINAL ONE-ON-ONE INTERVIEW WITH A SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBER 
    4. ESTABLISH A TIMELINE FOR OPENING THE BUSINESS WITH YOUR RECRUITER

    STEP 7

    SIGN FRANCHISE AGREEMENT

    CONGRATULATIONS! Upon signing the Franchise Agreement and submitting the initial franchise fee, you officially become a part of the A-PRO® HOME INSPECTORS FAMILY. We will arrange an orientation with your Start-Up business coach to commence the new Franchisee On-Boarding process. This step in the process will set a training and strategic planning timeline, ensuring a successful launch. Our dedicated START-UP AND FOUNDATIONS FOR SUCCESS TEAM will equip you with the resources to market your new business confidently. 

    Here is a concise list summarizing the steps after signing the Franchise Agreement with A-Pro® Home Inspectors: 

    1. ORIENTATION WITH START-UP BUSINESS COACH: You will have an orientation with your Start-Up business coach to kick off the Franchisee On-Boarding process. 
    2. STRATEGIC PLANNING AND TRAINING: During this step, a training and strategic planning timeline will be set to ensure a successful launch of your Franchise. 
    3. SUPPORT FROM THE START-UP AND FOUNDATIONS FOR SUCCESS TEAM: A dedicated team member will provide the necessary resources to market your new business confidently.
