WELCOME TO THE A-PRO HOME INSPECTORS® FRANCHISE DISCOVERY PROCESS!

Our mission is to create a perfect match between your aspirations and our franchise opportunity through a process built on integrity, knowledge, and respect. We will work together over the next 30 to 45 days to help you understand our franchise system deeply while our team learns about your goals and ambitions in owning your own business. As a new Franchisee candidate, we encourage you to make an informed decision within this time frame. If awarded a franchise, you will be joining the A-Pro® family as a new Franchisee. Remember, making a choice is just the beginning of your journey as a business owner.

STEP 1

YOUR GOALS, OVERVIEW, AND DECISIONS CRITERIA

Together, we will dedicate the time needed to comprehend your background and aspirations fully. We will comprehensively understand your needs by delving into your personal and professional goals, assessing your compatibility with A-Pro®, and evaluating your timeline, selection criteria, and investment range. We will also address your fears or concerns throughout this process.  

Here is a simple breakdown of this session:  

  1. Introduction and Background Assessment – Understand your personal and professional goals – Assess your compatibility with A-Pro® 
  2. Compatibility and Investment Evaluation – Evaluate your timeline and selection criteria – Discuss your investment range 
  3. Addressing Concerns and Fears – Provide a safe space to express any fears or concerns – Offer guidance and support to alleviate any worries 
  4. Summarize the information gathered – Discuss the next step in the process.
  5. Set up a follow-up meeting or call, with mutual consent.

STEP 2

A-PRO® BRAND REVIEW

This comprehensive session explores our vision, goals, and the distinctive advantages we bring to potential business owners. It’s a crucial step in determining if we should proceed with further discussions, fostering open and honest communication. During this session, you’ll clearly understand our business model and culture and learn about the profile, style, character, and habits of a successful Franchisee.

Below is a simple breakdown of this review:  

  1. We will share our company vision, goals, and values. 
  2. Explain the business model and competitive advantages. 
  3. Describe company culture and community. 
  4. Discuss the ideal franchisee profile and success factors. 
  5. Encourage open communication and address concerns. 

If both parties agree, we’ll schedule the following steps and establish firm timelines. 

    STEP 3

    CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE AND PERSONALITY PROFILE

    The Candidate Questionnaire demonstrates that you are serious about exploring this opportunity and want to learn more. There is no obligation or commitment to invest at this point; once we’ve received and discussed your application, we will provide a sample of the Franchise Agreement, which includes more detail on training, mutual obligations, the initial investment, and ongoing expenses associated with owning and operating the business. The Caliper Personality Profile is a tool we use to understand how you might fit into our company, but it is also an excellent tool for you to use in your decision-making process.

    Below is a simple breakdown of this step in  our process:  

    1. CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE – Shows seriousness in exploring the opportunity – No obligation or commitment to invest at this point – Provides more detail on training, mutual obligations, initial investment, and ongoing expenses. 
    2. SAMPLE OF FRANCHISE AGREEMENT – Provides more detail on training, mutual obligations, initial investment, and ongoing expenses – Helps both parties understand the terms and conditions of the franchise agreement. 
    3. CALIPER PERSONALITY PROFILE – Upon mutual agreement to proceed further, we will furnish a proven assessment tool after examining the franchise agreement. This tool is designed to gauge the candidate’s potential integration into the A-Pro® family. It serves as a valuable resource for the candidate throughout their decision-making process and ensures that both the candidate and our team are equipped to make well-founded and informed decisions.

    STEP 4

    REVIEW OF YOUR EXCLUSIVE TERRITORY AND FRANCHISE AGREEMENT

    During this step, we will review your exclusive territory and provide an overview of any home inspection requirements specific to your area. This step will ensure you thoroughly understand the local market and the necessary regulations, allowing you to make a well-informed decision about your investment. 

    This part of the process allows you to view the Franchise Agreement and compilation of information, including our company background and management, a detailed breakdown of the total investment, a list of some of our current Franchisees, and more. We want to ensure you comprehensively understand the business and our responsibilities. We must also document your selection criteria and confirm that A-Pro® is the right fit for you. 

    1. EXCLUSIVE TERRITORY REVIEW – Understand the local market – Learn about home inspection requirements specific to your area 
    2. FRANCHISE AGREEMENT OVERVIEW – Review the Franchise Agreement – Understand the company background and management – Learn about the total investment breakdown – See a list of current Franchisees – Comprehensively understand the business and responsibilities 
    3. SELECTION CRITERIA AND FIT ASSESSMENT – Document your selection criteria – Confirm that A-Pro® is the right fit for you – Make a well-informed decision about your investment.

    STEP 5

    FINAL VALIDATION & EXECUTIVE INTERVIEW

    Join us at our upcoming Meet The Team Virtual Event, where you’ll have the chance to connect with our executive and support teams. This is your platform to ask questions and gain insights into the A-Pro® culture. Discover how our support system can help you achieve your business goals through small business ownership.

    STEP 6

    FINAL VALIDATION & EXECUTIVE INTERVIEW

    Once you’ve attended Meet The Team, we’ll discuss any outstanding franchisee confirmation or funding items. You will also have a final one-on-one interview with our Senior Leadership Team member. You will also work with your Recruiter to establish a timeline that works for you and when you ultimately want to open your business. 

    1. ATTEND MEET THE TEAM EVENT 
    2. DISCUSS OUTSTANDING FRANCHISEE CONFIRMATION OR FUNDING ITEMS 
    3. FINAL ONE-ON-ONE INTERVIEW WITH A SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBER 
    4. ESTABLISH A TIMELINE FOR OPENING THE BUSINESS WITH YOUR RECRUITER

    STEP 7

    SIGN FRANCHISE AGREEMENT

    CONGRATULATIONS! Upon signing the Franchise Agreement and submitting the initial franchise fee, you officially become a part of the A-PRO® HOME INSPECTORS FAMILY. We will arrange an orientation with your Start-Up business coach to commence the new Franchisee On-Boarding process. This step in the process will set a training and strategic planning timeline, ensuring a successful launch. Our dedicated START-UP AND FOUNDATIONS FOR SUCCESS TEAM will equip you with the resources to market your new business confidently.
